Please take a moment to check your spam filtering software and make sure you don\’t have the guy responsible for guardian balance/development blocked.
Take a look at every patch note since release. Guardians have not been mentioned more than once. We\’ve had key components of our class changed. Feats that were once our most useful abilities are now being removed from rotations. None of this was announced in any patch note, unless of course I missed it… You\’re losing people left and right because of this.
Your primary tank class isn\’t quitting because they think the changes you\’ve made are horrible…not necessarily. We\’re quitting because you do it in stealth and we spend 2-3 nights of frustration after every patch trying to figure out and adjust to changes you made without telling us. Then on our own forums we spend hours dealing with rumors and gossip trying to figure out what exactly did change and why.
Take yesterday\’s patch… Momentum no longer effects follow up combos in the spec tree it\’s found in… Why?
Below is a list of changes specifically given to the Guardian class that have been in patch notes since release:
Guardian
Guardian - Fixed a problem where the third rank in Counterstrike Stance was not giving you the damage shield while in defensive stance. (May 29th)
Now, I\’m not asking for changes. In fact I would love to see my guardian returned to something remotely similar to what it was prior to May 29th (enjoyable) but lets be honest here…We ALL know you\’ve made significant changes to the class. None of these have been in ANY documented patch notes.
It\’s VERY difficult to tell what is a bug and what is a intended change. How can we submit bug reports if we\’re not given any information in the patch notes.
Again, if I missed something in the patch notes, feel free to let me know. I only really look at the Guardian section when looking through the notes because that\’s all I really care about. I\’ve only seen it once.
