OK I have looked here there and everywhere for info on this, but can\’t find it. I was wondering how Life tap works? Is life tap on weapons or spells the same?

also is the damage a percentage? 1 lightning damage (magic) so if you do 1000 (just for a number) magic damage to someone will it add 1 or 1% to it?1 or 10?

So last night @ 11:00 pm MST/10:00 pm PST the servers went down for a 5 hour hotfix patch update. I can understand that the patch was urgently needed and hopefully the rather lengthy downtime was utilized to properly test everything out.

But why the hell would the downtime occur during core play hours for the majority of North American users?

Doesn\’t Funcom employ some sort of automated server shutdown schedule and patch uploader? Why not plan these type of patch shutd...

how often do we use it? i find that putting 500pts on it, and only use it once or twice is very wasteful

i could max out my taunt, run speed, endurance, hp or mana recovery

what u guys think?

So I hear people saying their server is underpopulated. So in order to help people out who are trying to find a server with a decent population.

Please tell us which server your on and if you think the population is low, medium, or high.

Tyranny (PvP) - medium/high population from what I can see.

I have leveled more then one toon here and have always had others to group with or beat on at every level. On a side not though, I would say its more of a \’medium\R...

Anyone remember that damn boat ride from the Wood Elf/dwarf Island to Freeport on Everquest 1? It took one real life hour (wish I was kidding) to run through the zones, Wait at the port for the ship to actually arrive, and then sit on the boat while it took the 15-20 minute trip across the ocean. Not to mention at release there was a bug where the ship could fly out of the ocean killing everyone, or just sink into the ocean leaving you there.

The patches are not massive but they add up, my installation of AoC not including screenshots is 26.2 gig.

I think thats a record for just about any game/program ive ever had besides an oracle database.

And it just keeps growing……
